How do we collect your data?

On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This may, for example, be data that you enter in a contact form. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is mainly technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

What do we use your data for?

Part of the data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right to obtain information about your processed personal data free of charge at any time. You also have a right to request the correction, deletion, restriction of processing or portability of this data, provided that the legal requirements are met. Insofar as we process your personal data on the basis of a balance of interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the General Data Protection Regulation), you can generally object to this processing. You can contact us at any time about this and other questions on the subject of data protection. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Third-party analysis tools and tools

When visiting our website, your surfing behaviour can be statistically evaluated. This is done primarily with cookies and with so-called analysis programs. The analysis of your surfing behaviour usually takes place on the basis of pseudonymised data. You can find detailed information on this in the following data protection declaration.

2. data protection in detail

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation - "DSGVO") and this privacy policy. When you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data is data by which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains what data we process, how and for what purposes. We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Note on the responsible body

The data controller for this website is:

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to object to the collection of data in specific cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)

If the data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) e or f DSGVO, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions.
The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this data protection declaration. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims (objection under Article 21(1) of the GDPR).
If your personal data are processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for the purpose of direct advertising (objection pursuant to Art. 21 (2) DSGVO).

Right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority

In the event of a breach of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged breach. The right of appeal is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, deletion and correction

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to free information about your processed personal data at any time and, if applicable, the right to correction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time for this purpose and for further questions on the subject of personal data.

Right to restrict processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. To do this, you can contact us at any time. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to check this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data has happened / is happening unlawfully, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of erasure.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or enforce legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure.
- If you have lodged an objection in accordance with Art. 21 (1) DSGVO, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, such data may - apart from being stored - only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

3. data processing on our website

Cookies

Our website partly uses so-called cookies. These cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. shopping basket function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyse your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer
- time of server request
- IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website - for this purpose, the server log files must be collected.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
The data entered in the contact form is processed to protect our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry. (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO).
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after processing your enquiry has been completed). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

Request by e-mail, telephone or fax

If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your enquiry including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO if your request is related to the performance of a contract with you or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures with you. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO), as we have a legitimate interest in the effective processing of the enquiries sent to us.
The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after processing your request has been completed). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.

Cookies used by us

The tool we use is based on technology provided by Snowplow Analytics Limited (Snowplow Analytics), company number 07852221 with registered office at 17 Bevis Marks, Floor 6, London, EC3A 7LN, United Kingdom). The data we collect about the use of our website includes, for example, how often users visit the website or which areas are accessed. The tool we use does not collect any personal data and is used by our web hosting provider and service provider solely to improve their own offering.

Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)

To ensure that our content is displayed correctly and graphically appealing in every browser, we use script and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts) for this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser's cache so that they only need to be loaded once. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or denies access, the content is displayed in a standard font.

- When script or font libraries are called up, a connection to the operator of the library is automatically established. Theoretically, it is possible for this operator to collect data. At present, it is not known whether and for what purpose the operators of the corresponding libraries actually collect data.
- Here you will find the data protection provisions of the operator of the Google library: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy.
The legal basis for the transfer of the required personal data to Google is Article 6 (1) lit. f DS-GVO. If your personal data is transferred to the USA in the process, we have concluded standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission with Google to ensure the protection of your data.
